As a native of Iowa, I began my business career for Canon USA office products division in the Chicago area. As a trainer and marketing representative for District Managers covering 12 states, I spent a dozen years with Canon before becoming a Regional Sales Manager for Sharp Electronics, where I managed and monitored sales of office products through a franchise dealer base of 52 in a 4-state region. Here I introduced and implemented company’s marketing and incentive programs, trained dealers and sales staff on features, benefits and demonstration of products. I quickly learned that the incentive trips and bonuses I earned were the results of great customer service and in creating lasting long-term relationships with the dealers I sold to. After moving west to Southeast Nevada, I became a sales agent with Prudential Mesquite Realty and Ence Homes, initially specializing in resale, lot sales, and then moving into new home construction the past 6 years. I recently made a change to Premier Properties of Mesquite. I have enjoyed the entire process a new buyer/seller must go through to own/sell a lot, build a home, or purchase/sell a resale and have learned a great deal about human engineering along the way. While with Prudential/Ence, I completed the requirements for the “Certified Sales Professional” (CSP) designation from the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB). I was among the top 10% of the firm’s leaders in sales production as well, totaling over $12 million in 2005 and $9 million in 2006, winning the “Leading Edge” citation and the coveted “Spirit of Prudential” award given to just one associate in a firm of over 150 agents who exemplifies all the best characteristics of salesmanship, customer service, and peer respect. Customer satisfaction has always been #1 with me. I pride myself in also being reliable and thorough, keeping my customers’ interest foremost in my work.
